Where we went this past weekend!
Here's Johnny and Jack standing in front of the St. Louis Arch looking at the boats and the muddy Mississippi River.
We were accompanied by Johnny's parents on this trip. We also went to Grant's Farm. Great place to go, if you don't mind driving 3 hours away to see animals your kids have already seen before, and to hear them scream in the car the whole way down, at every meal (Max, not Jack), and the whole way back in the car. (I don't think g-ma and g-pa will be going with us again anytime soon) Oh, and at 2 a.m. in a small hotel room. That sums up our trip, besides our visit to Grant's farm. It was a great place, the kids did love it. Max especially loved feeding the goats, or just petting them. Check out these next few pics.
Oh how I hope he never loses his love for animals. His face looked like this in this next picture almost the whole time he was in with the goats.

Road trips might not be our thing at this point in our family life, but we did create some good memories, and for that I am grateful.
